We are looking for a purpose driven marketer who can help us engage the hearts and minds of our key stakeholders and audiences and help drive positive change for young people.
This role is about developing an exceptional brand for The Careers and Enterprise Company, creating high profile behaviour change campaigns and supporting the communications needs of the company.
Working with the Head of Marketing, their role will be to help develop and drive strategic campaigns that will enable positive behaviour change, develop a strong brand presence for the Company and help develop CEC products that will strengthen and support the sector.
Working with the Head of Marketing, their role will be to help drive the following initiatives:
National Mentoring Campaign: We will be launching a high profile national campaign that aims to get 1000’s of young people in some form of mentoring relationship, and create long term change.
Behaviour Change Campaigns: We will be creating mini campaigns around issues in this sector to help us become the trusted voice for young people and the sector.
Brand Development: We will be evolving our brand so that we can create exceptional experiences for all our stakeholders.
Showcasing impact: There are many amazing stories to tell about the great work organisations we support are doing and the work of our Enterprise Advisor Network.
Develop CEC products: As our offer for schools, businesses and young people expands we will be developing a suite of ‘products’ to support the sector.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
The successful candidate must demonstrate that he/she is an excellent communicator, with a track record of executing integrated communication campaigns and brand development.
Demonstrable experience of:
Develop integrated marketing campaign strategies and activity plans (digital marketing experience mandatory)
Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of integrated marketing campaigns, on time and within budget
Work with key stakeholders to implement campaign activity including: digital teams, programme leads, Press and PR team, events team etc.
Brief external agencies/partners including creative, design, copy, film partners
Manage campaign implementation and performance against agreed campaign activity
Write and edit copy for a range of promotional printed materials and publications as needed
Creating products and tools to support building the company profile and communications internally and externally with stakeholders
Strong organisational and operational skills, day to day leadership of projects
Strong understanding of creative outputs (brand assets, campaign assets, collateral)
Ability to identify and manage key stakeholders, building rapport and constructive relationships across different audiences
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
Diplomacy, tact and understanding of others’ priorities to achieve common goals.
Ability to deliver at pace.
Resilient and flexible, comfortable with complexity, uncertainty and ambiguity.
Self-starter and self-sufficient but able to work with different team across the Company.
We welcome candidates who have marketing and/or creative agency experience. The candidate will be operationally savvy, being able to drive projects and passionate about wanting to help young people.

Price / Salary:
£40,000 to £50,000, plus benefits and holiday allowance
