Content of the advertisement:

Purpose of the Post
To accurately elicit and document project requirements. To work closely with the Projects Manager, Chief Information Officer, key users and suppliers to ensure the finished product meets these requirements. To ensure the project creates solutions which benefit the Inn’s staff and members.
Main Duties
The following list of duties is indicative of the nature of the post.  Priorities, time-scales and standards will be set in agreement with management, recognising the level of professional competence of the post-holder.
Accurately gather and document key user and stakeholder requirements
Map existing user processes and workflows
Keep organised electronic documentation of all stages of project implementation
Assist with feasibility studies
Attend and document technical aspects of product demonstrations
Regularly report to  the Projects Manager and any other relevant key stakeholder at all stages of projects
Design, Deliver systems and process training for users
Provide in-project support to third party vendor consultants
Oversee systems testing and create test scripts for User Acceptance Testing
Assist with data audit, cleansing and migration
Deliver projects by adhering to strict standards for time, budget and quality
Handover completed products to IT at an appropriate time, and in a structured manner
Attend, prepare reports and present at meetings of the Technology Programme Board and other relevant committees
Attend and participate in weekly Project Team meetings
Deputise for the Projects Manager when absent, as required
Assist with ad hoc IT departmental duties such as AV set up, password resets etc.
Knowledge/Skills required
Experience in capturing user requirements in a similar environment
Experience of process mapping and design or process engineering
Experience of using and configuring relational databases
Experience of database implementation and software development projects
Demonstrable willingness and ability to learn new technical concepts
Flexibility and ability to manage time across multiple concurrent IT projects
Excellent written and spoken English
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Demonstrable ability to write, present and convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical individuals
Advanced user of MS Word, Excel (2010) and Visio or similar
Experience of systems testing or overseeing User Acceptance Testing Able to demonstrate honesty and integrity in everything you do
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
Experience of chairing and leading meetings
SQL querying and basic database administration
Experience of hardware or infrastructure implementation projects
Creation and editing of Crystal Reports

Price / Salary: Circa £40,000-£42,000 plus excellent benefits package including medical insurance and pension
