We are looking for a purpose-driven strategic leader who can build and drive a contemporary marketing function for the Careers & Enterprise Company. The Company is doing vital work to help young people find their best possible futures and needs a marketing leader to help engage the hearts and minds of our key audiences and drive long term behaviour change.
This role is about developing an exceptional B2C and B2B brand for The Careers & Enterprise Company, leading high profile behaviour change campaigns and supporting the communications needs of the company.
Working with the CMO and their team, their role will be to help develop strategic campaigns that will enable positive behaviour change, develop a strong brand presence for the Company and help develop CEC products that will strengthen and support the sector.
We welcome candidates who have marketing and/or creative agency experience. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, creative, passionate leader.
Working with the CMO, their role will be to lead the following initiatives:
National Mentoring Campaign: Working with creative agency partners, we will be launching a high profile national multi-channel campaign that aims to get 1000’s of young people in some form of mentoring relationship, and create long term change.
Behaviour Change Campaigns: We will be creating mini campaigns around issues in this sector to help us become the trusted voice for young people and the sector.
Brand Development: We will be evolving our brand so that we can create exceptional brand touch points for all our stakeholders.
Showcasing impact: There are many amazing stories to tell about the great work organisations we support are doing and the work of our Enterprise Advisor Network.
Develop CEC products: As our offer for schools, businesses and young people expands we will be developing a suite of ‘products’ to support the sector.
Ongoing Strategic Development: Our marketing strategy will continuously evolve to meet the needs of our stakeholders and CEC team. We are looking for a leader who can help drive change and innovation.
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 8-10 years marketing/creative agency experience demonstrating strategic leadership and team building experience.
Demonstrable experience of:
Developing integrated marketing campaign strategies with a strong understanding of digital marketing
Leading the implementation, tracking and measurement of integrated marketing campaigns, on time and within budget
Brand development and execution
Work with multiple internal stakeholders to implement campaign activity including: digital teams, press and PR teams, events team etc.
Partner with external agencies/and or partners including creative, film, design and media planning agencies to deliver campaign activities against brief
Strong delivery and strategic skills
Strong creative judgement
Ability to identify and manage key stakeholders, building rapport and constructive relationships across different audiences
Ability to deliver at pace
Resilient and flexible, comfortable with complexity, uncertainty and ambiguity.
Self-starter and self-sufficient but able to work with different team across the Company.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and coaching skills to collaborate with and support the company’s employees, technical experts and external stakeholders.

Price / Salary:
£60,000 to £70,000, Benefits and Holiday allowance
